(Scroll down for video) Police in Florida, arrested a boy for killing his mother’s boyfriend.

The 15-year-old boy was arrested for first-degree murder.

Deputies said that 37-year-old Paul Gregg, Jr. of Mulberry, lived with his girlfriend for five years and the two often drank together.

On the night of the incident, he was allegedly drunk when he got into an argument with his girlfriend, 36-year-old Jessica Whidden.

Her 15-year-old son, Michael Cole Whidden, told police that he was tired of the two arguing. The couple fought after Gregg allegedly accused Jessica of cheating on him.

Jessica said that her son watched as Gregg began yelling at her while telling her to kill herself because she was worthless.

According to the teen, Gregg armed himself with a knife and told his mother that he will “torment her until she committed suicide.”

The boy said that he armed himself with a gun and when he saw Gregg going to the closet where they had more guns, he shot him.

Gregg was pronounced dead at the scene and the boy was charged with murder. Prosecutors did not yet determine if he will be charged as an adult. For now, the teen is in a juvenile detention center.
