Bus driver fatally stabbed after waking up sleeping passenger at final stop

(Scroll down for video) A bus driver was brutally murdered by a young man after waking up the sleeping passenger at the final stop, according to police in Canada.

Winnipeg police said that they have arrested 22-year-old Brian Kyle Thomas, after being accused of stabbing 58-year-old Irvine Fraser.

Thomas ha been charged with second-degree murder, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and failure to comply with a probation order.

According to the police investigation, on Tuesday at around 2:00 a.m., Fraser arrived at the last stop of his shift outside the University of Manitoba campus.

Fraser noticed that Thomas was sleeping, and he woke him up.

Fraser told Thomas that had to leave the bus. A fight ensued after Thomas reused to leave. Thomas was physically escorted off the bus.

That is when Thomas pulled out a knife and stabbed Fraser 11 time. Fraser died at the scene.
