Millions of people around the world are upset, sad and depressed.

Sometimes it is over the smallest inconvenience or discomfort.

Many people are not living life to the fullest because they are too busy being upset over things they don’t have or they cannot get.

Some people have fallen so deep into their self-pity and depression that it is hard for them to see the good that they do have in their lives.

Whether you lost your job, home or other material possessions, or if you lost your partner after a breakup or divorce, their is still some good in your life that is worth embracing and being happy with.

A great way to feel better about yourself and with your life is to think about what would you do if you knew you would die today.

Although it may seem extreme, it is a good way to put things in perspective.

If you knew you would die today, would you be sad? Would you miss your loved ones? Would you regret all the things that you have not done, seen, or accomplished in your life?

Take some time to think about it and motivate yourself to enjoy everyday to the fullest as you never know how much time you have left in this wonderful world.

Try to appreciate and enjoy the simple things in life.

Reach out to people who love you and care about you. Take them out for coffee and reminisce about good times.

Make a bucket list of things you would like to do and do it. Don’t push them off for later as that time may never come.

Don’t wait for that special person in your life to take you to places such as a great restaurant or vacations. Find a friend or family member who you like, and do the fun things with them.

Explore your neighborhood. Visit tourist attractions in your neighborhood and in neighboring towns, you might be surprised by the interesting and fun things that you never knew existed so close to home.

Remember, everyone has problems and difficulties in their lives.

You deserve happiness. However, nobody can give you the gift of inner peace and happiness, only you can give it to yourself.

Put your mind to it, change you attitude about life and you will have a much happier life.
