(Scroll down for video) A woman in Mexico, who was born without arms, showed the world that it was possible to live a comfortable life without hands.

39-year-old Adriana Irene Macias Hernandez from Guadalajara, hit a world record by lighting 11 matches and candles in just 60 seconds despite the fact that she does not have hands.

Hernandez is an attorney and his written several top selling books.

Hernandez uses her feet instead of her hands for everyday chores such as writing, cooking, doing her make-up and touching up her hair.

Recently, she appeared on a television show, where she lit the most ever birthday candles in 60 seconds using just her feet.

The results were certified by the Guinness World Records. The attorney beat the previous record of lighting seven held by Ashrita Furman.

The video shows the nicely dressed Hernandez, sitting next to numerous birthday cupcakes. Each cupcake had a birthday candle.

When the clock started ticking, Hernandez lit matches and used them to light the candles on the birthday cupcake. When the clock hit 60 seconds, Hernandez lit 11 candles using just her feet.
