Chester County police said that they have arrested 53-year-old Mike Ulmer, after being accused of tying up the 18-year-old student and raping her in his home.

Ulmer has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual battery. He was booked into jail, and his bail has been set at $250,000.

A judge ordered him to have no contact with the victim or her family.

According to the police investigation, Ulmer is the pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a teacher at the Chester County High School.

The 18-year-old woman told police that Ulmer offered her a ride home from the Chester County High School. Ulmer took her to his office, where he tied her hands with rope and then fastened the rope through a hook on the ceiling.

Ulmer then took off his pants and sexually assaulted her. The woman told the police she did not consent to the attack.

Director of Schools Troy Kilzer said that Ulmer was suspended without pay.
