A police officer who was in a hurry to get back to work, drove away from a gas station with the pump nozzle attached to his cruiser, according to police in Florida.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said that the officer simply forget to put back the gas pump nozzle after waiting in his car for several minutes for the rain to stop.

Police posted a photo of the gas pump nozzle attached the police cruiser on Facebook.

“When you’re just in a hurry to get back on the job. No gas pumps were harmed in the making of this photo,” police wrote on Facebook along with the photo.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office ‏wrote that this incident just shows that nobody’s perfect. “Just shows that nobody’s perfect. Right?” A spokesperson for the Walton County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Twitter.

According to the police investigation, when the deputy was finishing to fill his gas tank, it began to rain. After waiting for the rain to stop, the deputy forgot about the pump nozzle and drive away.

Luckily, the nozzle had a quick disconnect mechanism, which prevented any damage to the pump. The officer will not face any consequences for the incident, police said.
