Students nearly kill teen with severe peanut allergy by smearing peanut butter on his face

(Scroll down for video) Officials of the Central Michigan University, have launched an investigation after students nearly killed a teen with a severe peanut allergy.

Teresa Seely said that her 19-year-old son Andrew, was studying accounting at the Central Michigan University when the incident unfolded.

Andrew was a member of the Alpha Chi Rho fraternity, when he passed out.

Students who were present at the time, then took peanut butter and smeared it on his face despite knowing that Andrew suffers from severe peanut allergy.

Andrew suffered a severe allergic reaction and was treated at a nearby health clinic. Teresa said that her son is lucky to have survived the attack.

Mt. Pleasant Police said that they have not launched an investigation into the incident as no one filed a complaint.

A spokesperson for the Central Michigan University, said that the students behind the attack could face suspension or dismissal.

Andrew no longer attends classes at the Central Michigan University.
