Chief of Staff of Tory Parliament Member rapes woman in Palace of Westminster

The chief of staff of a parliament member is accused of committing a horrific crime in the Palace of Westminster, according to police in the United Kingdom.

London police said that they have arrested 23-year-old Samuel Armstrong of Essex, after being accused of raping the woman in parliament.

Armstrong has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. Armstrong has been the chief of staff to South Thanet MP Craig Mackinlay.

He has since been suspended from his position.

According to the police investigation, Armstrong attacked the woman in the Houses of Parliament, where he raped her and sexually assaulted her, following a night of drinking.

He not only committed a horrific crime, he violated the sanctity of the Palace of Westminster. A judge has banned him from entering the Houses of Parliament.
