A pilot in India, decided to make an emergency landing after his plane began stinking from human waste, according to a spokesperson for SpiceJet.

On Sunday, SpiceJet flight SG 192 from Bengaluru to Delhi, was diverted to Hyderabad, after the pilot decided that he was no longer to fly the plane due to the bad smell coming from the toilet.

At first, the bad smell was contained to the toilet in the front of the Boeing 737 aircraft. However, as the flight continued, the bad smell spread to the entire plane, causing passengers to feel ill.

There were 184 passengers and 4 babies on board the flight.

After landing in Hyderabad, the toilet and the plane were thoroughly cleaned by a cleaning crew. The fight then continued to Delhi.

The flight arrived an hour late due to the unscheduled stop.

SpiceJet apologized to the passengers.
