A woman lost custody of her daughter after police officers found a marijuana cigarette in the crib of the child, according to police in Pennsylvania.

Halifax police said that they have arrested 29-year-old Janet Quinones, after being accused of endangering her 1-year-old daughter by exposing her to violent criminals and drugs.

Quinones has been charged with endangering the welfare of children, manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, false reports, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

After abducting her child from foster care, Quinones was charged with concealment of whereabouts of a child and interference with custody of children.

She was booked into the Dauphin County Prison, and her bail has been set at $25,000.

According to the criminal complaint, Quinones called police to say that her former boyfriend, Julian Rodriguez, fired shots at her house.

Rodriguez told police that he fired shots at the home as an act of self defense after Luis Jimenez and a man identified only as Eley, came out of the home and began firing shots at him.

Rodriguez’s car had several bullet holes. Officers went into the home, where they found marijuana, scales, cash, drug paraphernalia, guns, and ammunition.

Police also found a marijuana cigarette in the crib of Quinones’ 1-year-old daughter. Dauphin County Children and Youth Services took custody of the 1-year-old girl and a 14-year-old child.

After Quinones got out of jail, she abducted her 1-year-old daughter who was placed with a family in Camden, New Jersey, and fled.
