(Scroll down for video) An elderly man is in trouble for vandalizing Kim Kardashian books at Barnes & Noble, according to police in Connecticut.

Glastonbury police said that they have arrested 74-year-old Carl E. Puia, after being accused of pouring red ink on at least 6 books at the store.

Puia has been charged with one count of criminal mischief. He was booked into jail, and his bail has been set at $2,500.

According to the police investigation, security cameras at the Barnes & Noble recorded Puia pouring red ink on six books.

When employees noticed the stained books they realized that all of them were copies of “Selfish,” which is a collection of selfies of Kim Kardashian.

Puia then wrote a note and left it at the store. In the note, Puia said that he does not like Kim Kardashian and people like her.

“The man is accused of spreading a red liquid all over some Kim Kardashian books. The books, titled “Selfish” contained large print photos of Kim Kardashian’s selfies.

“Six copies of the books were destroyed in the massacre and could not be revived. He also left a lengthy note (that he took the time to type out) explaining his dislike of Ms. Kardashian and people like her,” police wrote on Facebook.
