Son of vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine arrested for rioting during anti-Trump protest

(Scroll down for video) The son of former vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine, got himself into trouble by taking part in violent anti-Trump protests, according to police in Minnesota.

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 24-year-old Linwood Michael Kaine, after taking part in the violent protests that took place in St. Paul on Saturday.

Kaine has been charged with one count of second-degree riot.

Kaine was booked into jail, and was released on bail Tuesday.

According to the police investigation, the violence broke out as anti-Trump protesters clashed with members of a March 4 Trump rally.

The anti-Trump protesters used whistles and air horns to disrupt the March 4 Trump rally. One person threw a smoke bomb into the March 4 Trump crowd.

The smoke bomb hit a 61-year-old woman in the head. A total of five people were arrested for rioting and another was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Kaine was wearing a mask and black clothes to disguise himself.

Kaine is the son of Senator Tim Kaine, who was the Democratic vice presidential candidate and the running mate of Hillary Clinton.
