Husband and wife sodomize and rape their 11 children

(Scroll down for video) A husband and wife lost custody of all their children after police learned that they had been sexually abusing 11 kids, including toddlers, according to police in Alabama.

The Florence Police Department said that 47-year-old Daniel W. Spurgeon and his 52-year-old wife Jenise, are behind bars after being accused of sexually abusing their children.

The Florence Police Department was notified that authorities in Cape Coral, Florida, had arrested Jenise on outstanding felony warrants.

The warrants stem from an ongoing investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving Jenise and her husband Daniel.

Detectives with the Florence Police Department were contacted by Detectives with the Cape Coral Police Department, following an incident that had occurred in their jurisdiction.

Their investigation led detectives to believe that abuse had occurred in Alabama, while the couple lived in the Florence area.

Since that time, detectives with the Florence Police Department, along with officials from the Alabama Department of Human Resources, have been diligently investigating the allegations.

Multiple interviews have been conducted and evidence gathered in this case led to the issuance of warrants against both Daniel and Jenise.

Daniel remains in the Lee County, Florida, jail with holds placed on him for the warrants in Alabama.

Jenise was arrested at a court hearing on related charges in Florida, and remains in the Lee County jail while awaiting extradition to Lauderdale County, Alabama.

Daniel was charged with 2 counts of sexual abuse of a child under 12, 115 counts of sexual abuse 1st, 122 counts of child abuse, 4 counts of sodomy 1st, 4 counts of sexual torture, 3 counts of domestic violence by strangulation and/or suffocation, 6 counts of rape 1st, 115 counts of enticing a child for immoral purposes, 6 counts of incest, and 11 counts of human trafficking 1st.

Jenise has been charged with 100 counts of child abuse, 1 count of domestic violence by strangulation and/or suffocation, 11 counts of human trafficking 1st, 100 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and 100 counts of enticing a child for immoral purposes.

As noted in the charges, this case involves a total of 11 victims who were either in the care of or the adoptive children of the suspects at the time the abuse occurred.

The abuse came to light after three children were found drunk at a restaurant, and they told police that their parents forced them to drink alcoholic beverages.
