Man kicks pregnant woman in the stomach because she pushed him to the ground on crowded train

(Scroll down for video) A man who was attacked by a pregnant woman on a crowded train, retaliated by kicking her in the stomach twice, according to police in New York.

The New York Police Department said that they have arrested 40-year-old Michael Lee of Staten Island, after being accused of kicking 28-year-old Natasha Rodney.

Lee has been charged with two counts of assault and two counts of reckless endangerment. He was booked into jail, and his bail has been set at $7,500.

According to the police investigation, Rodney is 9 months pregnant with a boy.

On Thursday around 8:30 a.m., Rodney was riding a northbound 4 train near the Bowling Green station when Lee came on board.

Lee accidentally bumped into Rodney, causing them to start arguing. Rodney suddenly began physically attacking Lee, and pushed him to the ground.

In response, Lee kicked Rodney twice in the stomach. Rodney was taken to the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where she was checked and released.
