Parents of a young teenager called police in Louisiana, after finding inappropriate text messages on their daughter’s phone.

Cyber crime detectives took possession of the girl’s phone.

On it they found inappropriate photos and text messages between 18-year-old George Thomas Wiley III, and the young teenager.

Authorities said that Wiley sent explicit text messages to a 14-year-old girl. He also asked the girl for nude photos of herself. The girl sent him photos of her breasts through Snapchat.

According to the arrest report, when Wiley learned via text message how old the girl was, he replied: “You better be worth risking going to jail.”

St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s spokesman, Maj. Eddie Thibodeaux, was arrested on charges that included computer-aided solicitation of a minor. He was freed after posting $13,500 bonds.

Sheriff Bobby Guidroz urged parents to always monitor their underage children’s social media pages. He said that there are many apps and parental locks that can be installed to protect them.

“In this case, a concerned parent checked his child’s text messages and was able to stop a child predator from texting his child,” Guidroz said.
