(Scroll down for video) A grandmother spoke of the nightmare after losing her daughter and her entire family in one day.

“To lose one person is unbearable, imagine losing 5 all at once,” the devastated grandmother wrote on GoFundMe.

Police in Florida, said that the father was driving when his car
drifted into the back of a disabled tractor trailer, which was on the shoulder of a highway.

The family who lived in Florida, was on their way home from Georgia, when the accident occurred on Interstate 75 in Alachua County.

The father, 37-year-old Nathan E. Russell, was driving a Chrysler 200 early Sunday morning, when his car drifted into the tractor trailer.

Investigators believe that fatigue may have played a role in the crash that killed him, his wife Lynda, 35, and their three children, La’Nyah N. Russell, 15, and twins Natayah and Nathan Jr., both 10.

10-year-old Nathan was the only one who was taken from the scene alive. He was rushed to UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville.

He was treated but succumbed to his injures 12 hours later.

The family set up the The Russell’s Memorial Fundraising GoFundMe page. So far, they raised $65,400 of their $100,000 goal.
