Police were called after a man shot and killed five people. After searching for the suspect, he was found dead in the garage of his home.

The suspect, 50-year-old Wayne Anthony Hawes, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Police said that Hawes became enraged after learning that his wife was filing for divorce.

In revenge, he shot some of her family members and church friends.

Lauren Hawes said that the problems began a few weeks ago, when her father threw her and her one-year-old daughter out of his home when she took her mother’s side during an argument.

Last week, Lauren said that her mother left, as she did many times before, but this time, she decided not to return and she was looking for a divorce.

“My father started making threats, saying that he would kill my mother and that he was going to make CNN news,” Lauren said.

However, his wife refused to return, and he carried out his threat.

Lauren said that he did not kill her mother. Lauren identified the victims as her 85-year-old grandmother, Rheba Mae Dent, her great-uncle, Roosevelt Burns, 75, and her cousin, 31-year-old Kelia Clark.

They were killed at one location before the suspect drove to the home of two family friends, Lizzy Williams, 59, and Shelly Williams, 62, and killed them.
