(Scroll down for video) A group of teenagers were eating lunch and having a good time when someone said something funny and everyone burst out laughing.

While laughing, Will Olson of Wisconsin, began choking. Olson said that he thought that she was going to die.

However, to his good fortune, his friend Ian Brown, got up and performed the Heimlich maneuver, which saved his life.

Surveillance cameras from the school cafeteria showed the moment Olson began coughing violently and struggling to breathe.

One of his friend’s was seen on video getting up and running away in panic.

After a couple of seconds, Brown was seen getting up from his seat and performed the Heimlich maneuver four times before the food dislodged from Olsen’s throat.

“I could be dead right now. I can’t say thank you enough for what he did,” Olson said about Brown.

Coincidentally, Olson had recently completed a training program with the La Crosse Police, where he learned the Heimlich maneuver.

The teens have now asked the school teach the Heimlich maneuver as part of the curriculum.
