People on a flight from Germany to Spain, were nervous as a flight attendant helped a pilot land their plane after the co-pilot passed out.

The German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation, said that the pilot passed out while the plane was above the Mediterranean Sea, due to extremely low blood pressure.

The flight attendant, who was not identified, stepped up to the controls and helped the other pilot land the plane safely in Mallorca.

A doctor on board the aircraft rushed to help the pilot, who was diagnosed with extremely low blood pressure. The flight took off in Hannover, around 5:00 a.m.

There were 190 passengers and 5 crew members on board the Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and no one was injured. Luckily, the flight attendant had training as flight security expert so she had some knowledge about flying the aircraft.

A spokesperson for TUIFly said that the flight attendant will be rewarded for her actions.
