(Scroll down for video) A woman of Texas, is angry after police arrested her fiance instead of the people who tried to kidnap her.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said that they have arrested Jeremiah Morin, 34, of Spring, after being accused of shooting at two gang members who were trying to kidnap his fiancee.
Morin has been charged with deadly conduct. If convicted, Morin faces up to 10 years in prison.
According to the criminal complaint, deputies learned that at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Friday, a 32-year-old woman arrived at her home located in the 30000 block of Wisteria Trace Drive, with her two young kids.
The victim had just carried her 9-month-old child into the residence and was exiting her home to get her 4-year-old child when she was approached by two black men at the door.
The two gang members were wearing dark clothing, ski masks and gloves. They fought with the victim by placing her in a headlock and pulling her into the front yard of the residence.
To save his fiancee, Morin discharged several bullets from inside the residence and toward the suspects in the front yard. The suspects let go of the woman and started to flee.
At that time, Morin exited the residence and went to the end of his driveway.
He then recklessly discharged 5 bullets at or in the direction of the suspects, as well as numerous houses, vehicles and other buildings.
When Morin and his fiancee were questioned, they refused to cooperate with police. Morin was then arrested and placed behind bars for endangering the life of his neighbors.
The fiancee is outraged that Morin was arrested instead of the gang members who tired to kidnap her.
However, police said that they believe that Morin is involved in a gang and therefore, he is refusing to cooperate with the investigation.
Morin’s fiancee told police that she will not press charges if they arrest the suspects who tried to kidnap her.
