Evil parents admitted that severely abused their newborn baby by beating the child, causing numerous broken bones, according to police in the United Kingdom.

Now, the couple from Bristol, have been jailed after their 10-week-old child was found to have suffered 14 fractures to his body and a broken skull.

Rowan Spodris, 25, and David Andrew Toye, 32, both of Lawrence Weston, admitted a charge of child cruelty at the Bristol Crown Court.

The couple appeared before Judge Patrick for sentencing. Toye was sentenced to 13 months in prison while Spodris was sentenced to serve 11 months.

According to the criminal complaint, a doctor spotted a suspicious injury on the victim and called police. He was taken to Bristol Children’s Hospital, where he was found to have multiple injuries, including a fractured skull.

Medical examinations found the injuries he suffered could not have been caused by accident. Experts told the court that the assaults occurred on at least six occasions.

Luckily, the child has made a full recovery from his injuries, and is now safe and well with his foster parents.
