(Scroll down for video) A 5-year-old girl was forced to stop an out of control boat when her family fell overboard.

Luckily, another boat spotted the out of control vessel going in circles at full speed, and they told her what to do in order to stop it.

The girl of Canada, was riding in the boat with her father, uncle and her 2-year-old brother. The kids were wearing life vests when the boat capsized.

The two men and the boy fell into the water. The father held his son above water while he desperately tried to stay afloat.

Gary Sutton said that he and several coworkers spotted the boat spinning in circles at full speed so they went to see if someone needed their help.

They managed to rescue the family before turning their attention to the 5-year-old girl. They instructed her how to pull the red “kill cord,” which stops the boat in case of an emergency.

After several tries, the child finally managed to pull the cord and stop the boat. The family, who did not want to be named, is grateful to be alive.
