(Scroll down for video) A mother was arrested after setting a very bad example for her daughter and her classmates.

Police said that the mother of Florida, came to pick up her daughter from the Carol City Senior High, when her daughter got into a fight with a 17-year-old girl.

30-year-old Ernstlatta LaFrance then got involved in the fight and beat her daughter’s rival.

She pulled the girl’s hair and beat her, leaving her with two black eyes. The mother also stole the rival’s phone and left.

LaFrance then posted a video of the fight on Facebook, warning “those messing with her daughter to be aware,” according to the police report.

When the victim came to the family’s home to retrieve her cellphone, LaFrance hit her with a stick and broke her middle finger.

LaFrance’s girlfriend, Erlisa Evans, 28, came out of the home with a gun and fired into the air, police said.

Both women were arrested. Judge Mindy Glazer set bond for the mother a $7,500 and warned her “to act your age, not your shoe size.”

LaFrance faces charges that include burglary with an assault or battery, strong-armed robbery with aggravated battery and
child abuse.

Evans is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
