(Scroll down for video) A school teacher acted recklessly by getting drunk with a teenage boy and using him to drive her to a restaurant, according to police in Florida.

Tampa police said that they have arrested 32-year-old Terra Virgin, after being accused of drinking alcoholic beverages in the presence of her boyfriend’s 14-year-old son and then forcing him to drive her car.

Virgin has been charged with child neglect and allowing an unauthorized minor to drive. She was booked into jail, and her bail has been set at $2,250.

According to the police investigation, Virgin was teaching math at the Freedom High School. Before her current job, she was employed as a teacher at the Ben Hill Middle School.

On Sunday around 11:00 p.m., Virgin was driving with her boyfriend’s 14-year-old boy, and she drank about 5 beers.

She then pulled over at Kennedy Boulevard and Westland Avenue, and told the boy to sit at the wheel and drive her to Waffle House.

When police pulled over the vehicle, they found the boy at the wheel and an open can of beer on the teacher’s lap. A spokesperson for the school said that Virgin might be fired from her job.
