(Scroll down for video) A woman who became a citizen of the United States, is facing deportation after committing a crime.
30-year-old Alix Tichelman from California, was jailed after injecting a Google executive with drugs, causing him to die.
Tichelman, who was born in Canada before her family came to the United States, has duel citizenship.
While she was in prison, Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), requested Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Deputies to put her on immigration hold, but they refused.
As soon as Tichelman walked out of jail a free woman, ICE arrested her.
Tichelman grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, before becoming a high profile call girl in California.
She met millionaire Google executive 51-year-old Forrest Hayes, several times for drug fueled parties on his yacht.
Hayes, who is a married father of five children, paid Tichelman $4,000 a night for sex, according to court records.
One day, Hayes was found dead on his yacht and surveillance video showed the Google executive slumped over while suffering a drug overdose.
The prostitute, who injected the drugs into him, did not call for help. Instead, she cleaned up the place, finished her wine, walked over his body and left the boat.
Tichelman pleaded guilty to felony involuntary manslaughter and administering drugs. She was sentenced to six years in prison, but she only served half of the sentenced and received credit for time served.
ICE officials said that Tichelman can be deported despite having U.S. citizenship, “as anyone with a felony is put in a special category, and there’s virtually no way of preventing their deportation.”
