A newspaper delivery man flew into a rage after a customer complained about the late timing of his delivery, according to police in Germany.

Luneburg police said that there has been an ongoing dispute between the 51-year-old newspaper customer and the 42-year-old delivery person, who was not identified.

On Saturday afternoon, the newspaper employee and the customer began arguing.

The customer wanted his newspaper to be at his home in the morning, but the employee made the delivery late in the afternoon.

The 42-year-old employee pulled out a knife and stabbed the 51-year-old customer several times in the upper body.

The 23-year-old family member of the victim came running and dragged the suspect away from the 51-year-old man and held him down until the police arrived.

First responders and rescue workers tried to resuscitate the 51-year-old man. However, he subsequently succumbed to his serious injuries at the hospital.

The suspect was arrested and charged with murder. The suspect appeared before a judge, who remanded him into custody.
