Taxi driver intentionally runs over young man twice because he slapped the window of his car

A taxi driver decided to kill a man who slapped the window of his car because he was speeding, according to police in Germany.

Munich police said that they have arrested 58-year-old Martin S., after being accused of using his taxi to run over 26-year-old Edris L.

In court, Martin was found guilty of attempted manslaughter.

Judge Norbert Riedmann sentenced Martin to serve 5 years in prison.

According to the police investigation, Edris was on his way home from work when two women stopped him in a crosswalk to ask for directions to the nearest bar.

While giving the women directions, Martin passed by them at a high speed. Edris yelled at the driver and slapped the window the taxi.

Martin made a U-turn and began driving towards the Edris and the women. The women quickly jumped out of the way, but Edris stood his ground.

Martin stepped on the gas and rammed into Edris. Edris was catapulted onto the hood of the vehicle, suffering severe bruising.

Martin then put his foot on the brake in order to throw Edris off his car. Martin then drove over Edris as he lied on the ground.

Edris was rushed to a hospital, where he was treated and released after three days.
