(Scroll down for video) Two lesbian women who are living together as a couple, are accused of severely abusing their daughter until she died of her injuries, according to police in Ohio.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley announced that a Grand Jury indicted the two women for the death of 5-year-old Ta’Naejah McCloud.

Tequila Crump, 26, the child’s mother, and her lesbian partner Ursula Owens, 37, were charged with multiple counts of aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, and endangering children.

According to the criminal complaint, McCloud was admitted to the University Hospital, after falling unconscious. Owens claimed the child had a seizure.

However, doctors discovered that the child suffered from severe head and brain trauma as well as older injuries including burns, which caused her to have seizures.

She died of her injuries four days later.

“This is a horrific case of child abuse,” said Prosecutor O’Malley.

“These women had no regard for this young life and need to be held accountable for their actions,” he said.

Owens and Crump, who lived in the 10700 block of Bryant Avenue, are being held in jail on $1,000,000 bond.
