A mother did not care about the well being of her children and sold drugs to customers in front of them, according to police in the United Kingdom.

Bristol police said that the 27-year-old drug dealer sold marijuana with her two young children in the car.

She was among those dealt with by officers in an operation in south Bristol on Tuesday. The young mother was arrested after her car was stopped on Queen’s Road.

A total of 26 individual bags of cannabis were seized, as well as cash and two mobile phones.

Arrangements were made for her two children to be cared for, who were in the car officers suspect she was dealing the drugs from.

A community car, known to be used to deal drugs in the area, was seized from a 32-year-old man who was driving without insurance, and a known drug dealer was arrested on Bishport Avenue as he was wanted by the courts.

Officers also seized 43 mature cannabis plants from a grow operating on Tanorth Road in Whitchurch. A suspect is being interviewed in connection with the investigation.

Finally, a drug warrant was carried out at Greenditch Avenue in Hartcliffe, where clear signs of class A drug use were found. The tenant now faces possible eviction by the council.

Hartcliffe PC Richard Jeffery said: “Lots of people came up to officers after the warrant to say how pleased they were that we’re dealing with the issues caused by that address.”
