(Scroll down for video) A police officer lost his job and was placed behind bars after being accused of illegally pulling over women and sexually assaulting them, according to police in Ohio.

Cleveland police said that they have arrested 49-year-old Kenneth Bolton Jr., after being accused of using a sex toy to touch the private parts of two young women in their 20s, during an illegal traffic stop.

Bolton has been charged with 2 counts of gross sexual imposition, 2 counts of abduction and 2 counts of interfering with civil rights.

If convicted, Bolton faces up to 10 years in prison.

According to the police investigation, Bolton worked for the Cleveland Police Department for 16 years.

Earlier this year, Bolton pulled over a car with two women, ages 22 and 23, while they were traveling on Euclid Avenue and Lee Road.

Bolton gave no reason for the pulling them over. Bolton then noticed a sex toy in their car. The police officer grabbed the sex toy and used it to touch the private parts of the women against their wills.
