A professor felt humiliated after an employee of Walmart, called him a “toilet cleaner,” according to court documents in Montana.

Montana State University professor Gilbert Kalonde of Bozeman, said that when he renewed a license at Walmart, he told the employee that he was employed at the MSU.

However, he was later shocked to see that his occupation listed as toilet cleaner.

He filed a complaint with Walmart, and asked to have them correct the issue on his Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks fishing license, and demanded an apology.

Since Walmart did not apologize, the professor decided to file a lawsuit against the complaint in the Gallatin County District Court.

He is claiming that the Walmart employee showed hatred, contempt, ridicule or obloquy. The professor told the court that Walmart had an obligation to train its employees properly.

He is seeking unspecified damages.
