Teacher accused of using his students to produce child pornography kills himself in hotel room

(Scroll down for video) A teacher who was on the run from the law after he was wanted for using his students to produce child pornography, killed himself in a hotel room.

Metro Nashville police said that 33-year-old Corey Perry, shot himself in the head. He died at the Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee, after suffering a gunshot wound to the head.

As we reported earlier: the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is asking the public to be on the lookout for a teacher who is on the run after learning that he was busted for producing child pornography.

FBI agents raided the home of 33-year-old Corey DeJuan Perry of Florida, after receiving a tip that he was using his students to produce child pornography, which he then shared with others.

Perry taught at H.L. Watkins Middle School in Palm Beach Gardens, where he had easy access to children. He also accompanied his students on field trips.

Palm Beach County school superintendent Dr. Robert Avossa, said that multiple students were allegedly victimized by the teacher and that the district has notified parents of kids who were victimized.

Police found Perry’s rental car in a parking lot not far from an airport. They believe that he may now be in Nashville, Tennessee, where he has family.

Perry was facing charges of production of child pornography, receipt of child pornography, and enticement.”
