(Scroll down for video) A father spoke about his heartbreak over the loss of his two wives and 12 of his 54 children.

70-year-old Abdul Majeed Mengal of Quetta, Pakistan, got married to his first wife when he was 18 years old.

Mengal said that he is addicted to sex and that when he was younger, he had sex everyday.

He eventually married more women and his family grew. Pakistani men are permitted to be married to four wives at one time.

He bought a seven-room house, where the children slept separately with their respective mothers.

Sadly, Mengal, who works as a truck driver, said that he did not earn enough money to support all of his children.

He was unable to buy enough food or formula to feed the babies and as a result, 12 of them died.

Two of his wives also became sick due to lack of food and they died, he said. After the deaths of his two wives, Mengal married two other women, and he went on to have more children.

In total, Mengal claims to have fathered 54 children with his six wives.

He has 22 sons and 20 daughters who are alive. His oldest child is a 32-year-old son and so far, his youngest child is a 2-year-old girl.

Mengal said that he struggled to give his older children a good education. However, he is frustrated as they were not able to find jobs to help him support the family.

His oldest son is the only one who found a job. He works as a truck driver like his father and he helps feed the family.
