The New York Police Department said that they have arrested 24-year-old Kimani Stephenson, after being accused of trying to kill 22-year-old Bonnie Currie of Manhattan.

Stephenson has been charged with one count of attempted murder.

According to the police investigation, Currie was waiting for the F train at an East Village station early on Friday morning, when Stephenson approached her from behind.

Stephenson then grabbed her private parts. When she told him to back off, Stephenson pushed her onto the train tracks.

Luckily, witnesses at the scene managed to pull Currie back onto the platform before the train arrived. Currie suffered injuries and had surgery at the Lenox Hill hospital.

She then left the city. Currie revealed that she cried for many hours in the hospital. She worked as an actress and at the Hillstone Restaurant on Park Avenue.
