A man who was high on alcohol, broke into a home to eat snacks and drinks, according to police in Colorado.

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 33-year-old Matthew Keith Dunham, after being accused of entering the home without permission and eating food from the kitchen.

Dunham has been charged with burglary, criminal mischief and theft. He was booked into the Mesa County Jail, and his bail has been set at $1,000.

According to the criminal complaint, Dunham begged for food and drink at a truck stop, where he received $15. Instead of buying food, Dunham bought a bottle of vodka, and drank it all.

He then broke into the home, and wrote a note to the owners that he was harmless and needed help. Dunham entered the kitchen and ate Oreo Cookies and drank milk.

Dunham then went into a bedroom and woke up a girl, telling her he was harmless and needed help. The girl woke up her father, who asked Dunham to leave his house.

When Dunham refused to leave, the father dragged him out of the house and called police.
