A judge in the United Kingdom, told the court that a mother should be “commended” for turning her son in to police for sexually harassing underage girls on Facebook.

In incident began when Elaine Kingston’s son came to visit her a few month ago.

The Oxford Crown Court heard that 21-year-old Stephen Trinder, used his mother’s cellphone to log into his Facebook account.

Later, when Kingston used her phone, a message popped up. The massage came from an angry parent who warned Trinder, that the girl he was talking to was only 14 years old.

The message read: “I’ll f***ing kill you, leave her alone, she’s only 14.” Kingston soon found out that her son communicated with several girls through Facebook, and the youngest girl was just 13 years old.

After discovering sexually explicit content, the mother called police and turned her son and her phone over to them.

The court heard that at first, Trinder of Headington, was furious with his mother for turning him over to police for doing something while he was “high on drugs.”

However, he now understands why she did so.

In court, Trinder pleaded guilty to six counts of attempting to incite a child into sexual activity. He was sentenced to 12 months in prison and he received a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 10 years.
