Man wearing lucky shirt gets arrested for reckless driving

(Scroll down for video) A man had a bad day despite wearing his lucky shirt, according to police in Illinois.

Chicago police said that they have arrested 53-year-old Travis Clay, after being accused of reckless driving.

According to the police investigation, Clay was observed driving and reckless manner by passing other vehicles through a bus lane.

Clay was pulled over, and police noticed that he was wearing a shirt that said: “This is my lucky shirt.”

Police learned that the suspect was driving with a suspended license, his registration plates were expired and he had no insurance.

He was booked into jail, pending a bail hearing. Clay later pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license and was sentenced to probation.

Prosecutors dismissed all other charges as part of a plea bargain agreement.
