(Scroll down for video) A young man who was eating free cookies at a supermarket, was shocked to be attacked by the store’s security guard, according to police in Minnesota.

Roseville police said that they have arrested 53-year-old Timothy Knutsen, after being accused of using pepper spray to attack the 20-year-old man.

Knutsen has been charged with assault and disorderly conduct.

According to the police investigation, Knutsen worked as the security guard at the Cub Foods supermarket. When Knutsen spotted the victim eating cookies at the bakery section, he tried to alert employees.

The victim told police that he ate the cookies because there was sign that they were free. Knutsen claimed that he did not notice the sign, stating that the cookies were free to eat.

Knutsen followed the victim and attacked him pepper spray to the face to stop him from eating cookies. As a result of the allegations, Knutsen was terminated from his position as a security guard at American Security.
