A woman of the United Kingdom, was found guilty of deliberately hitting a cyclist after he criticized her for using her phone while driving.

A shocking video of the incident was uploaded to the Internet, where it went viral.

The video shows 25-year-old Justine Henshaw-Bryan swerving her car into the bicycle in order to hit the victim before driving off without checking if he was injured.

After 38-year-old Damien Doughty was rear-ended by Henshaw-Bryan’s car, he went flying into a tree. He was taken to a hospital, and was treated in the intensive care unit for a lacerated liver and fractured ribs.

Henshaw-Bryan, who was three months pregnant at the time of the incident, cried when she was found guilty of causing serious injury by dangerous driving by a jury of seven men and five women at the Wood Green Crown Court.

She now faces up to five years in prison and a ban from driving.

During her four day trial, Henshaw-Bryan tried to blame her boyfriend Aaron Hall, for the incident.

She claimed that he was in the passenger seat of the car when he grabbed the wheel and slammed into Doughty because the cyclist hit her mirror.

Doughty admitted to hitting her mirror after she cursed at him during the road rage incident.

Prosecutor Nigel May did not believe her story. He said that Henshaw-Bryan would say “absolutely anything to save her own skin.” Hall denied the accusations his girlfriend made against him, and he was not charged in the incident.
