Two drunk women were arrested after one of them called police on herself.

The two women of Texas, are facing charges after one of them called police on Thursday.

Friendswood police said that 25-year-old Marissa Ann Sluss, told a dispatcher that it was not safe for her to drive her car.

Sluss said that she wanted her friend, 20-year-old Hannah Marie Webb, to take the wheel and drive them home, but Webb refused to do so, claiming that she was too intoxicated to drive.

Officers who arrived at the scene at 3:00 a.m., found the women in the car that was stopped in the middle of the road in the 100 block of West Parkwood Avenue.

Officers said that Sluss was on her phone and she smelled of alcohol. She then told police that she called them because her friend was not “complying,” authorities said.

Both women were arrested for being intoxicated.

Sluss, who failed sobriety tests, was charged with driving while intoxicated and Webb was charged with public intoxication.
