A man will think twice before lending his car after a friend crashed it while choking on a hot dog, according to police in Australia.

Mandurah police said that officers responded to the scene of a crash, which involved two vehicles and a brick fence.

According to the police investigation, the man had borrowed the car from his friend on Wednesday afternoon, because he wanted to buy groceries from a nearby supermarket.

As the man, who was not identified, was driving home, he ate a hot dog. Suddenly, he began choking, and lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle hit a parked car. The choking man’s vehicle then hit the brick fence of a home, causing damage to it. Additionally, the borrowed vehicle and the parked car suffered serious damage.

Luckily, the choking man was able to clear his throat, and he did not suffer any injuries as a result of the lodged hot dog or the car crash.

Police said that no charges have been filed.
