19-year-old Aldo Saucedo was arrested in Dallas, Texas, after police said that he accidentally killed his girlfriend and wounded another woman, during a violent fight with another man outside a nightclub.

Police responded to the Tiger Cabaret Club in the 9000 block of East R.L. Thornton Freeway at about 4:00 a.m., on a report of shots being fired.

Officers who arrived on the scene discovered 18-year-old Natalie Tavares, a mother of one child, and her friend, lying next to her boyfriend’s car.

Both women suffered from gunshot wounds. Tavares was taken to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The second woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Police said that Tavares’ boyfriend, Saucedo, was fighting with a man in the parking lot before he drove up to the nightclub to pick up his girlfriend and her friend.

As he stopped in front of the club, a man walked over to Saucedo’s car and punched him in the face. Saucedo grabbed his a gun and opened fire, hitting the two women instead of the intended target.
