Woman gives partially smoked marijuana joint to police officer during traffic stop

(Scroll down for video) A police officer was surprised when a woman handed him a partially smoked marijuana joint during a traffic stop, according to police in Maryland.

Glen Burnie police said that they have arrested 25-year-old Cheyenne Alexis Harris, for being in possession of drugs.

Harris was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of MDMA, possession of oxycodone, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the police investigation, on Monday around 10:00 p.m., detectives conducted a traffic stop on southbound Ritchie Hwy at I 695, after the driver failed to yield right-of-way to another vehicle.

Detectives made contact with the driver and passenger and noticed the odor of marijuana emanating from within the vehicle.

Detectives asked the female occupants to exit the vehicle.

As they did so, the passenger, Harris, handed a detective a partially smoked blunt, which he suspected was a marijuana cigarette.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a baggy, which belonged to Harris, containing 323 empty green/clear gel caps.

Harris was also found to have multiple types of drugs concealed on her.

Police seized 3.7 grams of marijuana, 4.9 grams of crack cocaine, two 5 mg tablets of oxycodone, two capsules of suspected MDMA (Ecstasy/Molly), 19 green/clear gel caps of heroin, and $606.
