A man decided to completely cover his face in tattoos because his friend died and he had to forget how he used to look, according to police in Florida.

Miami police said that they have arrested 29-year-old Lawrence Patrick Sullivan, after being accused of waving a gun at drivers.

Sullivan has been charged with one count of carrying a concealed firearm. He was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight correctional center, and his bail has been set at $5,000.

According to the police investigation, Sullivan works as a tattoo artist and he lives with his mother. Recently, Sullivan admitted to doing drugs and drinking a lot of alcohol because his friend died.

He described himself as really depressed and at a low point in his life. Sullivan covered his entire face in tattoos that made him appear like The Joker character in the Batman series.

Sullivan said that he wanted to change his appearance and look like he was a new person.

On Tuesday night, drivers called police to report that a man with a Joker face and green hair was waving a gun at them.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, found Sullivan with a loaded gun.
