A father beat his disabled son in front of his older brother because he refused to eat, according to police in Texas.

Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 48-year-old Alejandro Gonzalez, after being accused of injuring his 2-year-old son who suffers from cerebral palsy.

Gonzalez has been charged with one count of injury to a child.

He was booked into the Williamson County Jail, and his bail has been set at $100,000.

According to the police investigation, the 2-year-old boy has difficulty swallowing and chewing food due to suffering from cerebral palsy.

Earlier the week, Gonzalez became angry because the boy would not eat. Gonzalez grabbed the boy by the hair and shook him violently.

The boy’s older brother secretly recorded the abuse on his phone. The boy who recorded the video, sent the footage to his older sister, who showed it to police.

Police then discussed the contents of the video with police.

Police found red marks on the victim’s lower back and buttocks.

Investigators learned that Gonzalez beat his disabled son with a belt and fly swatter.
