An upset man ended up behind bars after repeatedly calling the police despite being told that he could only dial 911 for an emergency, according to police in Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania State Police said that they have arrested 51-year-old Larry A. Keiser of Bethlehem, after being accused of calling 911 seven times within a half an hour.

Keiser has been charged with intentionally calling 911 for non-emergency purposes, disorderly conduct and harassment.

He was booked into the Lehigh County Prison, and his bail has been set at $5,000.

According to the criminal complaint, Keiser lives in a home in the 1600 block of Clearview Road. On Friday night, Keiser drank several beers because he was upset about a family situation.

He called 911 and asked to speak with police about his family situation. Keiser was told that he was only allowed to call 911 for an emergency.

After calling 911 5 times, police came to his home. Police noticed that he was intoxicated and asked whether he wanted them to call an ambulance.

Keiser told police “f**k no.” Police explained to Keiser that 911 can only be called in an emergency situation. Keiser said that he was upset about a family situation and wanted to talk to an officer about it.

Keiser then promised to go to sleep and not call police for the rest of the night. A minute after police left his home, Keiser called 911 again.

Police came back and arrested Keiser.
