(Scroll down for video) A mother is devastated over the loss of her son who was injured in a single car crash.

19-year-old Taletrius “TJ” Bradley of Florida, was hospitalized after the accident and has since died.

According to the mother Tammie Singletary, Bradley was doing very good in life. He graduated and he was a Deerfield High School football star.

He planned on going to college so that he can be successful in life.

Singletary said that many students arrived to prom in luxury cars and designer clothes. She decided to reward her son for doing good at school by renting him a red 2017 Chevrolet Corvette for his prom.

Sadly, his life was cut short when he lost control and crashed the luxury vehicle, and he suffered a brain injury in Plantation.

Bradley was driving back from prom with teammate 17-year-old Demetrius Palmer as his passenger when he crashed and flipped over the car.

Both Bradley and Palmer were rushed to a hospital in critical condition. Bradley has since passed away while Palmer is still fighting for his life.
