(Scroll down for video) A New York judge was humiliated by being dragged out of a courtroom in handcuffs on a bench warrant, according to police in Rochester.

Police have executed the arrest warrant while Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio, was attending a meeting with a supervisor.

Astacio was booked into the Monroe County Jail, and she is being held without bail.

According to the criminal complaint, police were alerted to the scene of a single vehicle crash on Interstate 490. When police arrived at the scene, they found Astacio under the influence of alcohol.

She was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated after a test showed that her blood alcohol content level was .19 or more than twice the legal limit.

Astacio was found guilty of DWI, and ordered to probation.

She was ordered not to drink alcohol for a year and place a device on her car to detect driving under the influence.

Astacio did not keep the terms of her sentence as the device in her car recorded her driving under the influence of alcohol.

Astacio told police that it was her daughter who drove under the influence. Astacio was ordered to take a urine test, but she refused and flew to Thailand.

After failing to turn up in court for a hearing on her probation violation, a judge issued a bench warrant. When Astacio returned to court, she was arrested.

A judge offered a chance to plead guilty to several charges in exchange for 45 days in jail. Astacio refused the offer, and was sent to jail.
