(Scroll down for video) A mother was arrested over the death of her two young children.

Police in Texas, said that 19-year-old Amanda Hawkins, intentionally left her children in her hot car while she was hanging out with her 16-year-old boyfriend at another friend’s house.

While she went inside the house, she left her two young children in her car.

Police said that her friend who heard the kids crying, asked her to bring her two daughters inside, but she replied that they will cry themselves to sleep.

The children, who have different fathers, allegedly cried for hours as they were left in the car overnight.

At 12:00 p.m., after being left alone in the car for 15 hours, Hawkins of Kerr County, finally went to check on them.

By that time, they were unconscious. However, police said that Hawkins did not call for help. Instead, she bathed the girls. Her friends finally convinced her to take them to the hospital, where they both died.

Hawkins was arrested and charged with two counts of abandoning or endangering a child. Police said that these charges may be upgraded since the children have died.

Hawkins is being held on $70,000 bond.

In December, Hawkins set up a GoFundMe page, trying to collect $1,500 to buy a house.

She wrote: “We are trying to raise money to get us into a home. We are living with my grandparents. We are both working, but it’s still hard. Any help is greatly appreciated. We will be buying this house.”

Although she did not receive any money, people are now using that GoFundMe page to express their anger over her actions.
