Man named ‘Cheeseburger’ jumps through hotel room window and beats man lying in bed

A man who calls himself “Cheeseburger” attacked a person who was lying on his bed in a hotel room, according to police in South Carolina.

The York County Sheriff’s Office said that they are looking to arrest 33-year-old Markey Shannon of Rock Hill, who is also known as Cheeseburger, after being accused jumping through the hotel room window and assaulting the customer.

Shannon is facing charges of burglary, malicious injury to property, and assault and battery.

According to the police investigation, on Tuesday at around 12:30 a.m., a 50-year-old man was lying in his bed at the Hillside Inn, which is located at 126 N. Anderson Road, when Shannon jumped through the window.

The victim heard someone calling the suspect “Cheeseburger.”

Shannon then attacked the victim and dragged him out of the window. He threw him to the ground and beat the victim again.

Shannon then took away the victim’s cell phone and threw it to the ground, causing it to break.
